OVERWATCH (optional) Give this warrior a ranged combwat action, but do not choose any targets, determine any lines of fire, or make any attacks. Give this warrior an action token and an Overwatch token. At the beginning of your next command phase, remove the Overwatch token; this warrior can resolve the ranged combat action it was given on its last turn

Stormwall - At the beginning of your command phase, deal 1 pushing damage to the wielder. Until the beginning of your next command phase, figures within 12in of the wielder can neither make nor be the targets of range combat attacks.

Stormwall also lasts until the beginning of the command phase once activated.

Since both happen at the same time, active player chooses which goes first. You can then choose to resolve overwatch or even bombardment first before reactivating stormwall?

However, Stormwall must not be active on the turn when you give actions to your figs to use Bombardment or Overwatch.

Say turn 1, give your figs actions to make ranged combat attacks using Bombardment/Overwatch. Stormwall cannot be active this turn otherwise you cannot use these abilities.

Turn 2, resolve Bombardment/Overwatch then trigger Stormwall. In this case, you may not use Bombardment nor Overwatch again this turn since Stormwall is now active. Unless those figs move out of Stormwall range.

Stormwall - At the beginning of your command phase, deal 1 pushing damage to the wielder. Until the beginning of your next command phase, figures within 12in of the wielder can neither make nor be the targets of range combat attacks.

Remember that storm wall only prevents ATTACKS and not ACTIONS ;-) .
You can give an "ACTION" to do Bombardment and Overwatch even if your figure is within the 12in range of the active relic.

The trick is that at the start of turn the effect of stormwall's no range attack is immediately stopped. Since Bombardment, Overwatch, Vagabond Brothers, and Storm wall 1 click activation all occur at the "beginning of the command phase", the active player decides which one to resolve first. This means that Bombardment and Overwatch can be executed even before the no range attack effect of Stormwall.

This strategy does NOT work if your OPPONENT has the stormwall. It only works if YOU own the stormwall Wink

However, if an effect ends at the "beginning of the command phase", it ends as soon as that time is reached; IE, "ending" an effect is not a resolution, it just happens, so there is no overlap of stuff that ends at the beginning of the command phase and stuff that is done at the beginning of the command phase; the "ending" stuff happens first immediately.
