Faction Wars 8.31.2013 (Part 1)

Dark Crusaders vs Elemental Freeholds

DC’s Dragonslayers vs Elemental’s upgraded MOM army. First turn for the Elementals – occupied the a concealing terrain near their base using MOM. DC casted fan ritual on Aeradon’s hound and the swarm of zombies positioned themselves far from the Elementals striking range. Second turn for the EF was a big surprise! – Pushing the wielder of MOM to teleport the frontliners to a concealing terraing right in front of the DC army! Flame priestess on a skydragon charged the blood priestess and used frostlance to add another token to the caster immobilizing her! Centaur Champion attacking a zombie centaur using giant’s wrath dealing 4 damage to the prime target and  1 damage to every figure within 3 inches! Thrush attacked with stormfire but unfortunately missing on the roll. DC countered with Aeradon attacking the Centaur Champion with 6 daamge followed up by a blood demon for another 5 damage eliminating the EF centaur! 2 zombie centaurs eliminating the wielder of MOM! EF’s turn; Thorn Maidens dealing venom and  pushing their rider to attack the Pain Wraith dealing 4 damage! DC then eliminated the skydragon, thorn maidens and positioned the centaurs to shake off Thrush of was wielding a SB which can’t be attacked by range and close combat. EF conceded the game giving the 3rd win to the Dark Crusaders!!









DC’s Mighty Ducks vs EF’s Disruptor/MOM army

It was a fun army for both camps! Dc fielding 5 pegasus with Tazia and 4 barrow knight with Deathseeker (AC). Elementals using Disruptor and MOM! Pretty basic strategy, DC went to attack with Tazia and the Barrow Knights MB/B and MC/MB! EF frontliners eliminated Taiza early on making her explode in the mid part dealing 4 damage to everyone! Regeneration was the key factor for DC’s survival and for the win!










Elemental Freeholds vs Draconums

Elementals Disruptor/MOM armyvs Draconums Drakor, Caldera and Eldritch. Wasn’t able to see this one but the Nature lovers won the match

RENIEL the Dark Raider!!!

The Draconum had gained themselves a powerful ally. He fielded the mighty Drakor (Inferno, Gear shield, Footman's fangblade) and Caldera (Cloak of Vipers and the Wylden Shield). The Eldritch Daconum wielding a Principles of Technomancy Spellbook was there to provide much needed support.

KOSSAK!!!

He Literally brought a SWARM type Blackwings, Grimlin, and Shades DEATHSEEKER ARMY of DOOM.



The Draconum were a tough Nut to crack. Literally high defense and equally scary attack and Thunderblow damage. The Scales were rock solid but with so many barrages of bee swarm like attacks... at one point a lucky grimlin found a crack.


An awesome match ensued were the swarm-Technic found it's use.

DC vs BPR

Kossak vs Kenaz!!!

Kenaz wielded Book of Lightning backed up by a bunch of dwarves with heavy artilleries! Janos with Snow’s Fuser Rifle, Terk with Cloak of the Martyr, Dwarven Hammerskald with Crown of Khamsin, one dwarf with SB and another with healing powers. Kossak wielded Galeshi Sunsword and a swarm of Zombie Centaurs supported by a Spiritcatcher. Kenaz was enchanted with arcane sight then attacked the spiritcatcherfirst! Kossak & the centaurs slowly advanced. Kenza attacked the spiritcatcher again demoralizing the DC caster, Janos shot one centaur with 5 damage! Kossak and the centaurs rested. The BPR camp casted fumble and Kenaz attacked Kossak with lightning from above! DC was pushed to sacrifice all the centaurs to harass the dwarves to give time to their general to pick up the sunsword and slowly advance. The dwarves were unstoppable with their offense attacked and cleared out the zombie centaurs with close combat and arrows from Janos using precision! Kossak weakened and all met up with Hammerskald in the middle. Kossak was able to eliminate Hammerskald but was open for execution from Kenaz! Last shot from Kenaz resulted to Kossak’s DEATH!!! The black powder dwarves pushed back the drak crusader’s advance to take their mountain!

Series @ 1-0 in favor of BPR!







Atlantean Empire vs Draconum!

Myrmidons vs Syndak!

The AE bounder wielded Venthia’s mask, gear shield and MSB. The relic granted him the defense value of Phalanx (21) plus his items for another 3 defense! Syndak was also blessed with 2 techno control as well! Myrmidon’s wielded Inferno & Paragon’s shield was bathed with wolf’s kin and fang ritual! Syndak attacked Vharigar first and eventually eliminating the draconum caster. The AE mages casted techno circle for protection and mechanoid for defense. The myrmidon’s took all the objective tokens then went to attack Syndak. Imperial Legion saved Syndak from the Inferno damage multiple times. The AE mages took 1 token and Syndak grabbed another as time ran out giving the victory to the Empire!








Shyft/Magespawn vs Draconums

It was a debut game for the new draconum tandem – Tyrsis wielding venthia’s mask, scythyrian quarterstave and gear shield and Chrima wielding Inferno, Cloak of the dervish and MSB… Eldritch with SB for support.
Jadreen with Kbow led the Shyft/MS army with a swarm of blackwings and grimlins. Fysokro with SB for support and summon. The MS continuously attacked Eldritch and eventually eliminating the caster. Jadreen shooting Tyrsis but wasn’t enough to kill him. Chroma captured Jadreen and eliminated a bunch of grimlins who attempted to free her. Tyrsis slowly got back to his feet with vampirism. Chroma eventually eliminated Jadreen and the two dragons wiped out the entire magespwawn swarm and sat on 2 tokens. Fysokro slowly regrouped and summoned a 2nd round of magespawns… half of which fell down trying to hit Chroma. Then 1 grimlin was lucky enough to capture Chroma! Tyrsis tried to free Chroma but was swarmed to death by the blackwings! Shyft/MS won the match!






Dark Crusader vs Draconum

2nd round for Tyrsis, Chroma and Eldritch faced off with an explode army of the drak crusaders. One by one the dragons fell from the explosion! Eldritch first then Chroma… Then Tyrsis was swarmed by Kolt with Inferno and zombie centaurs and soon died. DC for this game.




Atlantean Empire vs Dark Crusaders!

Syndak, Phalanx, Magus Anendu and a couple of Delphana Masters vs DC’s explode army with Zombie Baron, Sydin and Kolt. The AE camp casted 4 mechanoids but 2 of which was disbelieved by Zombie Baron. Explode was useless in this macth and the zombie centaurs can’t force their way into the techno circle. Syndak went to attack sydin and was successful to eliminate sydin! Zombie Baron picked up Necromantic bonestaff. Blank minutes was announced and the AE mages left the techno circle to get tokens giving chance to the zombies to attack! 1 centaur captured magus anendu. Kolt and 1 centaur harassed syndak to keep him off attacking zombie baron. Necromantic bonestaff was the critical tool for the DC, ranimating centaurs one at a time attacking the delphana masters. Time ran out, DC’s final rutn, occupied 2 tokens and contested the last one. DC took game 3!





Watch out for game 4! 2k points between the Machines and the Undead!

Faction Wars Sept. 4, 2013 @ GA Tower

Black Powder Revolutionaries vs Dark Crusaders

Cindrata, Red Dutchess, Hazna Benz and Uncle Guns squared off with Zombie Baron and Kolt! The powerhouse range attackers of BPR were bombed by the DC camp. Hitting one unique at a time and harassed by the zombie centaur swarm! The lack of toughness by the BPR crew led to DC’s maximizing shake off from the centaurs! BPRs were wiped out by the zombies!







Black Powder Revolutionaries vs Dark Crusaders

Kenaz with Book of lightning and Morathai wielding Thunder Javeline on a Salamander vs Tazia with Kbow and Scholar Maleficius wielding Book of lightning. BPR had the first strike dealing 3 damage to Tazia with BOL and Morathai MB/B on scholar maleficius dealing an area damage to astrus and the centaurs. At first glance, DC faced an early wipe out from the BPR crew! Tazia dismounted and doubled time on the middle token and Pegasus flew away from Tazia. Scholar breaks away and a centaur moved at the salamander’s rear. Morathai rested that turn while Kenaz backed up by Terk with Cloak of the martyr kept attacking. DC’s turn, Pegasus pushed to based contact Tazia, the latter mounted and MB at the back of the BPR caster and demoralizing the dwarf! Scholar and Astrus fell dead the next turn... followed by Tazia and the Pegasus… Sydin and 2 centaurs was left, Bonestaff kept the DC camp alive reanimating their dead folks one at a time and attacking the BPR’s back. Morathai fell followed by the skittish mount… soon the dwarf healer fell and Kenaz! Game was brought down to Terk on his last click, a centaur on its last click and a demoralized Sydin with no one else to reanimate! The road runner chase came to a dead end with Terk moving to base contact the centaur. The idea is to kill the centaur and having sydin demoralized will give the win to the BPR camp. Last chance for the DC to fight back, centaur with 4 attack rate remaining needed to roll an 11 to hit Terk… 2 D6 went up and dropped with a critical hit!!! Lucky break for the DC crew and grabbed game 3 of the series!













Black Powder Revolutionaries vs Dark Crusaders

Kenaz with Book of Lightning, janos with Snow Fuser’s rifle and Hazna with Crown of khamsin vs Deathspeaker Darq and Zombie Barons. Kenaz blessed with arcane sight attacked 1 zombie baron and dealt 3 damage. Deathspeaker Darq advanced with his mut “zombie centaur” and the other zombie baron casted psychic reflection on himself. Kenaz missed on his second attack removing the arcane sight! BPR casted fumble to force Darq to drop his rangers plate. Darq left the relic and attacked Kenaz while the centaur harassed the other dwarf healer. Janos providing support on offense bounded and attacked Darq from behind! Darq fell dead by the hands of Kenaz. Zombie baron moved closer to the token near the BPR camp and casted circle of wraiths but Janos was within the radius. It was a close combat macth between Janos and Hazna vs Zombie baron which the latter prevailed. Kenaz was too late to reach the token as time ran out. Game 4 was snatched by the Dark Crusaders!










Watch out for the biggest game ever!!!

Game 5 will be a massive 4,000 points conquest between the Dwarves and the Undead!!!

Faction Wars 9.7.2013

Machines vs the Undead!

Kossak, Darq, Tazia, Scholar Maleficius, Zombie Barons, Cavalries and Zombie Centaurs for the Dark Crusader camp! Anunub, Magus Anendu, Alment Lan, Raydan Marz, Drone Golem, Tovak,Xandressan Sailors,  Phalanx and a swarm of Golems for the Empire!









Both camps slowly advanced in the center. The submerged sailors prevented the Dark Crusaders from utilizing command and leadership with rage hammer. The DC Cavalries attacked first, Tazia doing a MB/B on Tovak and killing him while the other cavalries harassed the 3 sailors. A few centaur zombies put up a wall behind Tazia to prevent the AE camp in hitting her.







The AE camp casted 2-3 mechanoids to beef up their defenses! Raydan Marz shot 2 centaur zombies. Then Tazia attacked again killing Drone Golem and landed near the AE camp. Raydan Marz eliminated Tazia causing the karrudans bow to explode! AE army took 1 damage only since they have 3 mechanoids already in play.





Zombie Baron, Scholar Maleficius and Darq took 3 objective tokens and zombie centaurs blocked the entrance for the machines! The AE camp just couldn’t reach the DC army on time due to their deduction in speed from the mechanoids.







Dark Crusader took game 4 and winning the series at 3-1!!!

Draconum vs Atlantean Empire


Welcome the Draconum Triad!!!
Caldera wielding Wylden Shield ;  Eldritch Draconum with the Principles of Technomancy ; Drakor wielding Inferno and the Cloak of Vipers plus Gear shield!

Now talk about a durable army. That my friend is a high defense army. It's very DE"PF"ENDABLE.
It is a stable army wielded by the uprising Draconum star: "DARK RAIDER" Reniel
The pushing "Inferno" relic damage in tandem with natural Venom from Drakor and the second Venom from the Cloak of Vipers is a "Corrosive" abuse of this now 21 defense figure. *Weaklings... prepare to literally MELT in his presence.

Caldera sharing her 19 defense with the Eldritch Draconum is a tough nut to crack. The Eldritch Draconum being a herald from the Draconum Mystics makes him unpredictable in terms of what spells are hidden in his little spellbook. On paper, the drac looks like just a healer/leadership, an expensive support figure. But as the "Dark Raider" showed me, there was more to him as he managed to cast "DRAGONFLAME" which roasted the shield Golem hiding behind the thick wall of magic immune Magestone Golems. He needed a "9" and Nailed it SOLID!


Equally up for the challenge are a bunch of Golems Lead by the Grand Magus Anendu! An established Delphana Master's Guild Mage, he now seeks knowledge in the power of GOLEMS!!! Wielding the Tome of Brass, He literally took a Page out of Magus Anunub's handbook.

He brings along his most trusted Delphana master wielding an apprentice Folio; 5 x weak Version Magestone Golems, and a relic of the Old, a weak ranked "Shield Golem".

With a Shield Golem down to 18 defend, things were not so looking good for the mighty atlanteans.
Fortunately, Magus anunub was able to cast "MECHANOID" thus negating the venom damages from the inferno wielding Drakor. The pushing damage from the Inferno Relic itself was enabling him to deal at least 1 click every start of turn.

Magus Anendu and his Delphana master took turns casting Technomantic Repair which practically healed all the Magestone Golems.

The non-stop fury of the Golems with Gang-up eventually won them the day as lucky dice rolls ensured that the Metal Clad Knuckles found their marks.

The Golems eventually won the war of attrition. The "Dark Raider" Now sees the "invisible relic" in the form of gang-up and walks away the wiser.

Shyft/MS vs Atlantean Empire

Kruggs army vs Raydan Marz and Anunub tandem. Kruggs swarmed Anunub and killed him. Delphana Masters casted Psychic Ref on Raydan Marz and Techno circle to prevent the kruggs from attacking them up close. War Impalers and Horned Impalers used their range sword attack to hit and eliminate the delphana masters. Raydan Marz was left alone and faced the krugg swarm! Eliminated almost 2 batches of kruggs but just wasn’t enough to grab all tokens. Shyft/MS won the match!









Solonavi vs Draconum

The previous Overlord vs the Dark Raider! Rokos Noviate wielding Book of lightning, Elydia with SB and Varatrix with Magestone Armor and POV battled it out with Dracs Drakor wielding Inferno, Caldera wielding Wylden shield and Eldritch for support. I’m not sure how it happened but the Draconums won the match!!! Awesome game from the Dark Raider!





Draconums vs Atlantean Empire

Niasamond and Lord Valantis met up with Raydan Marz, Anunub and Syndak! Raydan Marz fell first from the hands of Valantis then Syndak then the Delphana Master. The AE rolled bad for all psyc reflection allowing the attack of the draconums to hit! Anunub was left but didn’t last the fierceful offense of the draconums!

Game 1 went to Draconums!





Shyft/MS vs Draconums

Kruggs army vs Vithzerai

The dragons soared up and unleashed their sorceries and lightning hitting every kruggs and impalers on sight! Fysokro being a magic immune just kept on summoning the kruggs back and let them attack the dragons with range attacks. Vithzerai fell first then the 2 demiphants. Shyft/MS won the match!







Solonavis vs Apocalypse

Heddravalis, Destroyer, Rayevisayla and Terk vs Death Avatar!!! SOlonavis took game 2!  Rino will tell more about this game  






Solonavis vs Draconums

Dragon Mystic army vs the Solonavis chain healing army. The solonavis had some cool upgrades to their army changing Kyme to Heddy and wielded a relic that grants magic immunity. Granting that the challenge was from a pure wand type dragons. Not sure what happen with this game but the Solonavis won.
